Making listings more useful and more trusted
We are improving listing quality, category clarity, and trust signals so buyers can find what they need faster and sellers get better outcomes from the platform.
Buy and Sell Group exists to build, grow, and scale Buy and Sell: a marketplace where people can discover listings, reach buyers, and transact more efficiently. We are operating in Uganda today through buynsell.ug, with a clear ambition to expand across East Africa over time. This site serves two purposes: to share the developments shaping the business and to open the door to investor and strategic conversations.

The need is not theoretical. People are constantly looking for cars, land, homes, electronics, jobs, and services. The problem is that discovery is still spread across informal networks, WhatsApp groups, roadside agents, and disconnected social posts.
For sellers, the challenge is not whether demand exists. It is whether buyers can find them, compare options, and feel confident enough to respond. A strong classifieds platform can reduce that friction and make the market work better for both sides.
We see Uganda as the base market where the product, operating model, and seller relationships can be sharpened. The larger opportunity is to build a playbook that can travel across East Africa with local adaptation and disciplined execution.
Buy and Sell is being positioned as a trusted place where users can quickly discover relevant listings across the categories that matter most in everyday commerce.
The model works best when professional sellers, agents, dealers, and merchants treat the platform as a dependable source of leads. That is why seller usefulness is central to the product.
Our long-term objective is to build more than a single-country site. We are working toward a repeatable East African marketplace model that can expand market by market without losing focus.
Buy and Sell Group was started around a simple observation: people across Uganda already buy and sell every day, but the process of finding trusted listings and reaching the right buyers is still too fragmented. The founders saw an opportunity to build a marketplace business around a real everyday need rather than a theoretical trend.
That perspective still shapes the company. Build for local behaviour first. Make the platform useful to both buyers and sellers. Focus on trust, liquidity, and consistency before expanding. The long-term ambition is regional, but the operating mindset remains practical and disciplined.

An active marketplace depends on quality supply. We are focused on onboarding and retaining the sellers who bring repeat inventory, market depth, and commercial consistency.
As the Uganda business matures, we are sharpening the expansion thesis: which categories travel best, what local partnerships matter, and how to enter additional East African markets with discipline.
Buy and Sell Group is building around a durable user behaviour: people looking for opportunity, inventory, and services close to home. The strategy is to build real utility in Uganda first, prove a repeatable marketplace model, and then extend that model across East Africa step by step.
We are interested in investors and strategic partners who understand marketplace businesses, patient execution, and the long-term value of becoming the trusted discovery layer in a large and underserved regional market.
